I start the project with the into, using a After Effect software. I start with draw and masking the outline of the shoes. Next I put some fast forward video and some effect.

Software that I will use for my project is :

1) Adobe Photoshop CS5

3) Adobe Soundbooth CS5

4) Adobe After Effect : this software is edit and create a video or motion for my project. One of example work using a After Effect.



5) VDMX (projection mapping) : to adjust the shape (shape of sneakers)

This Installation I will use 3 different of sneakers. This project will be a projection mapping project, the ideas is to project a visual to the sneakers. The others tools that I need is a computer,speaker and projector.

The distance between the wall and the projector is around 3.0 m and the width of the wall that I need is around 1.5 m. The projector will be set up with a tripod.Before I can install the project, I need to create a visual to project at the sneakers, by follow the storyboard.

The Project is only mind interaction, audience need to watch the visual and try to find a massage or understand what the installation is about.

Represent Yourself.

Title: Represent yourself.

Metaphor :

Sneakers.

Subject Matters:

"Which culture that a person represent..?"

Problems:

-- what a style,color,pattern, etc. that can represent a culture.
-- Hate of other people, other dressing,
-- Famous culture in Malaysia.

Objectives:
-- To show a culture in Malaysia.
-- To recognize which culture that a person represent(color, style, pattern, etc. )
-- To show that sneaker can be a tools to represent yourself.

Motivation:
I got the ideas for this project after Lecture ask me "what you try to say? what your massage?"

I choose a sneaker as metaphor and the Subject matters is " which culture that a person represent?". By using a sneakers as a tools to represent a person, show a style pattern that is related with a single culture.

Idealization & Concept:
Create an audio visual that include motion graphic, video and typography.

Who you represent?

In Malaysia have a lot of sub culture, for example like hip-hop,punk,skin head, grunge and etc. I still remember during my time in high school, I like most of in hip hop culture, I prefer to dress like a rapper or a break dancer. I start enjoy in hip-hop culture like listen to hip hop music, start join a group of b-boys(break dance crew). During that time also have other sub culture that other teenager prefer like punk. but the question is how to know which culture that their represent? who you represent?

For my project my metaphor is a sneaker and my subject matter is " which culture that you represent". By using a sneaker, a person can represent they personality, character and which culture that they in to or "which culture that they represent.."
